The Consulting Engineers Group, Inc. was established in 1966 to provide design, management, investigative and other engineering services related to general construction. Starting from our original office in Glenview, Illinois (Chicago suburb) we now have offices in San Antonio, Texas; Lake Mary, Florida; Dallas, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Apple Valley, Minnesota. Our services have also expanded and now include structural engineering, precast concrete specialty engineering, parking structure planning and design, and design build services.

From the beginning, our primary thrust has been in concrete, with emphasis on precast and prestressed concrete. The scope of CEG’s design services varies depending upon the project and our client’s need. On some projects we have provided the complete design package as the Designer of Record, at other times we have provided Engineer of Record services, or Precast Specialty Engineering as well as project planning, feasibility, and operations studies.

The Consulting Engineers Group, Inc. has been retained by over 500 clients for engineering and management services. These clients, located throughout the country, include government agencies, owners, architects, contractors, manufacturers, associations, plus various international companies. We would be happy to furnish additional information and references if required.

To whatever role we are retained to provide, we bring a conviction that quality in the planning, design, materials, and construction is a prerequisite for the satisfactory, long-term performance of a structure.
