Popple Education is a Korean e-education platform that provides quality education to students residing in South Korea. We aim high and expect high achievement for our students, such as elevating to renowned global universities and challenging themselves to the next generation of education, such as Minerva University which is our associate. We offer online teaching tools designed to make the virtual learning experience super easy and effective for both students and teachers. All lessons are carried out online so you can work anywhere at any time!

Our company’s identity lies at the true learning culture: being jolly, polite and cosmopolitan. We would like to show our students that they could reach out to anywhere they want once setting up strong goals ahead of them.
English Language Online Teacher
Our English Teachers are experienced individuals that inspire and motivate students to embrace cosmopolitan moral standards and culture. As an English Teacher you will be part of our innovative virtual teaching team. Working as a freelancer, time management is one of the most important factors. With us, you will be able to take ownership of your schedule and decide when and how you would like to deliver your lessons. You should be able to follow Popple’s brand guideline and implement our teaching philosophy into your own teaching. Curriculum and teaching materials will be provided and they will include subjects like reading, phonics, speaking, listening, comprehension, grammar and writing.
As well as the academic curriculum, we also provide lessons that are more interactive and conversational. This is where you will shine the most! We provide Popple’s own unique characteristics that emphasis our brand identity and global culture. We are more than just a tutoring platform but a community where teachers and students form a sense of friendship. Students are very interested in your story, your everyday lives- even your mundane lifestyle maybe an eye-opening insight into your culture! It would be fantastic to give them an opportunity to have a sneak peak of the fun global lifestyle from their screens at home.
We are looking for individuals who have a complete control of their teaching methods and create extra teaching resources from your exceptional expertise. You will express who you really are and able to adapt and change according to Popple’s students’ need. High education completion or on-going is a must, and appropriate experience in teaching will be much appreciated.
Requirements:
- NATIVE English Speaker
- Standard work hours from 4 pm to 10 pm KST Mon to Fri
Time blocks will be provided for choosing.
- Well-Equipped is essential with proper digital devices for remote work e.g. PC/Mac, laptops, webcam, headphones, microphones, etc.
- Flexible attitudes towards work hours and meeting various types of students’ need.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Keen to participate in our community activities to improve student’s learning experience and bring in your own character to the lessons.
